How to Unlock Flex Slots in Deadlock

In Deadlock, you start the game with 12 item slots:

• 4 for Weapon Items (related to you upgrading your gun)

• 4 for Vitality Items (related to upgrading your health, resistances, and overall survivability)

• 4 for Spirit Items (related to you upgrading your abilities)

However, by accomplishing certain objectives throughout a match, you can unlock 4 Flex Slots.

Flex Slots can be filled with any mix of Weapon, Vitality, and Spirit Items

By highlighting the Flex Slot from a Shop, you can see the different objectives required.

The four objectives that unlock Flex Slots are (in order of difficulty):

1. Destroy 2 enemy Walker

2. Destroy all enemy Guardians

3. Destroy all enemy Walkers

4. Destroy 1 enemy Shrine

A Guardian is the first "turret" in a lane.

A Walker is the seconds "turret" in a lane.

And lastly, a Shrine is one of the two structures that keeps a Patron alive. It's very similar to the "Inhibitor" from League of Legends.
