Deadlock Sinclair Build

Overview

Sinclair doesn't have many "necessary items.” Feel free to be creative with the hero, depending on who you have on the enemy team; every game is different, depending on which ults you can steal. Don't be afraid to think outside the box but I like to start of with a strong bolt build and transition into ults later on

To find it in-game, search for "Mobalytics Bolt Sinclair by Vegas" (BuildID: 356734)

Early Game

  • Start every lane with Headshot Booster, Extra Charge, and Extra Spirit. Use your bolts when your Spectral Assistant is up to get the most poke potential.
  • Focus on getting consistent value out of each Spectral Assistant while maintaining your HP. We get stronger as the lane goes on, so don’t die early.
  • I like to rush Rapid Recharge and put two points into your 1 to maximize poke.
  • If needed, feel free to opt for defensive items like Reactive Barrier, Spirit Shielding, or even Rebuttal.

Mid Game

  • After buying your 4.8k core Spirit items, I recommend upgrading Headshot Booster into Headhunter and buying Recharging Rush. This gives us our 4.8k gun spike, carries our damage, and provides more bolts. These are some of the strongest 3k items you can buy straight out of lane, giving both sustain and insane damage added to your bolts.
  • Compress Cooldown is also a good pickup to allow you to spam more bolts.
  • I like to pick up Enduring Speed and Debuff Reducer / Dispel Magic in the mid game. I find this hero is insanely hard to catch out in a sidelane if you have boots and an anti-slowing hex item like Dispel Magic.
  • I also find that Greater Expansion and Duration Extender are great quality-of-life upgrades for Sinclair’s kit at some point in the mid game, whenever necessary. The same goes for Superior Cooldown.

Late Game

  • This is where I like to upgrade my damage items. I find that Boundless Spirit and Surge of Power help you maintain kill potential in the late game.
  • If you still have the gold, consider Mystic Reverb or Spirit Burn for even more individual DPS.
  • If you prefer more utility, I’d recommend Diviner's Kevlar, Vortex Web, and Unstoppable. These items provide much more value for your team but come at the cost of lower personal damage. That said, don’t sleep on these options if the enemy has strong ultimates you can counter or combo against.
