Overview
This build was created by Sharky. To find it in game, search for "Mobalytics - Paradox by Sharky" (BuildID: 22451)
Paradox is a tough character that picks engagements by forcing fights and punishing poor positioning with
Paradoxical Swap.
This build goes for high uptime and damage on Kinetic Carbine and forcing out of position players into harm's way.
Paradox has a very strong early game to mid game and can snowball the game in her favor.
Early Game
First buy
Basic Magazine, to increase damage and mag size which allows for stealing and confirming more souls.
Then buying
High-Velocity Mag for an increase in poke damage.
Then we buy
Extra Regen and
Extra Health to sustain in the lane
Next item to buy is
Sprint Boots to stack up more early game damage and increase movement speed.
The final items to buy in the laning phase are
Mystic Burst and
Mystic Reach which allow you to deal more damage with
Kinetic Carbine and get 15% ability range on your
Paradoxical Swap.

Mid Game
First buy
Mystic Shot to increase bullet damage and spirit power and then
Bullet Resist Shredder to decrease any bullet resistance after hitting an enemy with
Kinetic Carbine.
The next 2 items are the core of
Paradox's kit:
Improved Cooldown and
Warp Stone, granting a huge power spike and movement ability.
After the power spike,
Bullet Armor is a requirement to have more resists and a tiny increase in damage. Pair it with
Healbane to make spirit damage apply healing reduction and upon kill restore 350 health.
Slowing Hex is also a good option to limit heroes with alot of mobility and makes it easier to secure kills.

Late Game
Improving your cooldown on
Kinetic Carbine with
Superior Cooldown gives more uptime for picking engagements and forcing fights.
At this point in a game
Paradox damage starts to fall behind, so
Improved Burst and makes up for that.
The last items in the late game are
Improved Bullet Armor and
Fortitude which now increase survivability while swapping to counter enemy scaling.

Situational and Luxury Items
During the mid to late game alot of teamfights are initiated by
Paradoxical Swap and for increased survivability
Diviner's Kevlar but for more shutdown potential
Curse.
